Tucked along the east end of the city of Leesburg, Florida, and located just north of US-441, Lakeside Village provides privacy and quietude to residents, while also offering nearby access to Leesburg’s bustling retail corridor and other exciting city highlights. If you’re a water lover or an avid angler, you’re sure to be in your element here, as a resident of our community.
Our property resides along the shore of beautiful Lake Griffin, one of the area’s largest lakes, where boating and bass fishing abounds. Many Lakeside residents enjoy access to our private boat slips and boat ramp on a month-by-month rental basis. These features, along with our active, on-site community centers and our friendly, long-term residents are sure to make you feel right at home.
Lakeside Village is a pet-friendly community with approximately 243 total sites, most of which are presently occupied. The grounds consist of both doublewide and singlewide homes within a spacious, natural setting. Once you settle in as a resident, take time to enjoy our clubhouses with billiard tables, a library, a full restaurant-sized kitchen and large meeting areas. And, be sure to take part in a variety of activities at our outdoor recreational courts, or unwind at our screened-in, heated swimming pool.
We currently have a modest selection of mobile home residences for sale at Lakeside Village. As most of our community members are long-term, it is exciting when a site becomes available to a potential new resident. Occasionally, we offer empty lots for lease, upon which you can place your own mobile home.
Lake Griffin is an expansive, 9,400-acre body of water, and is one of the largest lakes in beautiful Lake Griffin State Park. It is the 8th largest lake in the State of Florida and is one of nine lakes in the Harris Chain of Lakes. Lake Griffin State Park boasts 620 acres with breathtaking views, trails and huge 300 to 500-year-old oak trees, while providing visitor access to Lake Griffin through the Dead River Marsh.
It certainly is the Friendliest Park in Leesburg, Florida
We went for a meeting so were only in the clubhouse. The place is well maintained and the residents seem to take pride in their properties. It looks like a good place to live.
Very friendly park. Lots of activities, never a dull moment! With 2 marinas, heated pool, shuffle board and dog walk. This waterfront community is calling your name!
